Every project uniquely designed by me.
Forged from the burning hot coals of the fiery furnace, Kempton's life tells the story of a young boy who was once refined by fire, shaped by truth, and ultimately transformed into the walking testimony he is today. Because of his powerful experience, he will never be the same again. That's why each song he makes is burning evidence of the wild beast he once fiercely tamed and somehow lived to tell the tale. Some stories have ups and some have downs, but every good story is one you’ve experienced yourself. Kempton's music isn't just another song you'll listen to... its purpose is to bring you an immersive experience you’ll never forget.
PROJECT PORTFOLIO
Co produced in Washington DC with Solo James (Studio Owner of SoundBox Recording Studios in Waldorf MD.) And accompanied by many close brothers of mine. Sample was not made by me.
After our session we all took a trip down to the mountains to do some snowboarding where you could imagine this song fit perfectly as we had fun falling down as we attempted to master our technique.
This song goes out to all of those stuck in addiction, fighting the cycle, and trying to break free.

Falling Down

As I sat there in my room I couldn’t help but think how far I have come. I wanted to believe something better was coming, and that one day everything that I have worked so hard for in my life would finally pay off.
I wrote this song as a testimony of what God has done in my life and what He can do in yours. It is a prophetic statement towards the future saying, “It’s going to get better than this, and this is not the end yet.” I stand here today to tell you, “Yes, it did get better for me. And it will for you too.”
Everything in this song was created by me. Including the piano melody, the beat, and the structure. I mixed, mastered, and wrote the whole song. Each piece was held in my hand as I intimately wove it together.

In this particular project I wanted to experiment specifically with my vocal mixing. This includes vocal tuning, melodyne, and FX. So, I chose a beat that I liked and began to track my vocals. I did not make the beat but I did do the mixing and mastering of the song.
I wrote this song at a time in my life when I was struggling to create. I was struggling to find my voice and it was really getting to me.
Since then I have found my sound, and I create with no problem.
